Update on the Job Search

People want to know where Ross and I are on the job hunt. Here we go:

Ross had a lead from church about a possibility of his dream job -- tutoring high school math nerds in college-level math. He hasn't heard anything back yet. He applied to 5 Starbucks locations and is waiting to hear back. Finally, we just got a call today from our landlord who might have about 6 weeks of construction work or something for Ross to do -- he'll find out more tomorrow.

I have now applied to (I think) 11 jobs. I interviewed for one at the beginning of June that I didn't get, and one place called me back the other day to tell me the posting I applied for was a formality for one specific person. So that leaves 9. In summary, they are:
- Laboratory research jobs similar to the one I had during college.
- Administrative jobs at clinics.

And the one with the most hope so far is pretty unique. It's "educational coordinator" at a private medical education facility -- from what I understand, I'd mostly be coordinating groups (of surgeons, mostly) who come in and use the facility and then in the summers running science camps for kids. I interviewed for it on Friday and should hear back soon.

We will, of course, let you know when we secure jobs.
